We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic person to join our large team of Learning Support Assistants. We have an inclusive ethos that embraces our motto of friendship excellence opportunity, we are passionate that this is the same for all our students. You will be working with students with a wide range of learning and physical needs including students in wheelchairs. If you are interested in a particular specialism within SEND or a subject area, there are numerous opportunities for development and progression.
The role of a Learning Support Assistant is a highly rewarding one which includes supporting students within lessons, helping with the target interventions that are run by the support department and assisting with the care needs of students with physical disabilities.
Hours: 5 days/28hrs 45mins per week. Term Time plus 1 Inset Day

Learning Leader of Psychology

Required for January 2024. We are seeking to appoint a passionate, well qualified, dynamic teacher and Learning Leader of Psychology who is keen to develop both their teaching and leadership skills in a successful all through community school that will provide great support and encouragement. You will need to be an enthusiastic, aspirational professional with a proven and successful track record of driving change, leading other professionals and ensuring that the best possible outcomes are achieved for all learners.
Psychology is a hugely popular and successful subject at Seven Kings. The department teach Edexcel Psychology at A Level. There are currently 2 specialist Psychology teachers who share the aim to teach students the science of the mind and behaviour, and show pupils how they can analyse human actions and interactions using evidence and theories. The team does this by creating a trusting, collaborative learning environment through their passion and love for the subject and for their craft and by providing the highest standards of learning and teaching for our young people. Examination results are strong, reflecting the department’s commitment to learning and teaching.

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and energetic team-players who are keen to join our team of lovely Lunchtime Assistants. You will work 1 hour and 30 minutes per day to cover the primary lunch period. A first aid qualification would be desirable but is not essential.
